Popularity rank #60 of 64 · Endgame Pro defence · against 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nf3

A flexible small centre with pawns on b6, e6 and often d6 or d5. White has the c4 and d4 pawns, and the fight is about the e4 square.

Watch out: If White gets e4 in for free with a strong centre, the b7 bishop bites on granite. Keep enough pieces on e4 to stop it, or strike with ...c5 or ...d5 at once.

A chess trainer that remembers what you missed

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
