Popularity rank #28 of 64 · Endgame Pro defence · against 1.e4 Nc6
It depends on White. After 3.e5, it is a French-type chain with Black's light bishop outside it. After 2.Nf3 d6, Black has a flexible centre with ...e5 or ...e6 to come.
Watch out: The c6 knight blocks the c-pawn, so ...c5 is not available. If White pushes d5, the knight must move, so know where it is going.
See the line. Feel the snap.

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
