Popularity rank #42 of 64 · Endgame Pro defence · against 1.d4 with Nc3 and Bf4
White plays Nc3, Bf4, e3 and sometimes f3 and g4. Black puts pawns on d5 with c5 or c6, and the knight on c3 stops White's c-pawn from joining the fight.
Watch out: White's Nb5 and Bxc7 tricks hit c7 together. If c7 is attacked twice, count your defenders before you play anything else.

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
