Facing the Advance French: the main 5.Nf3 Qb6 lines with 6.a3 and 6.Be2, the 5...Bd7 swap of light bishops, the Milner-Barry 5.Bd3, the early Qg4, 4.dxc5 and the ...Nh6 route. 8 lines for Black: 6.a3 c4, 6.Be2 cxd4 with ...Nh6, 5...Bd7 and ...Bb5, Milner-Barry 5.Bd3 ...f6, Early 4.Qg4, 4.dxc5 ...Bxc5, 5...Bd7 6.Be2 f6, 5...Nh6 6.Bd3.
Popularity rank #23 of 64 · Endgame Pro defence · against 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.e5
White's chain on d4 and e5 against Black's on d5 and e6. Black chips at d4 with ...c5, ...Nc6 and ...Qb6, and at e5 with ...f6. After ...c4, the queenside closes and the play moves to the wings.
Watch out: If you let White keep a firm pawn on e5 for free, your kingside lacks defenders. Watch for Bxh7+ ideas and Qg4 raids when your knight is far from f6.
See the line. Feel the snap.

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
