Popularity rank #27 of 64 · Endgame Pro defence · against 3.e5

White's pawns on d4 and e5 against Black's on c6, d5 and e6 with the bishop outside the chain. After ...c5, Black often reaches a French-type structure but with the bad bishop already traded or active.

Watch out: Be careful with the f5 bishop. Pawns on g4 and h4-h5 can box it in, so always know your escape squares and keep ...h5 or ...h6 handy.

A chess trainer that remembers what you missed

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
