Popularity rank #58 of 64 · Endgame Pro defence · against 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5

White has pawns on d5 and e4; Black has pawns on c5 and d6. The e5 square, the c4 square and the b5 square are the key squares for both sides.

Watch out: The d6 pawn is weak, and a knight landing on c4 or b5 can hit it. Keep it covered, and watch for e5 breaks that open the e-file towards your king.

A chess trainer that remembers what you missed

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
