The Smith-Morra against the Sicilian

Against 1...c5, White can offer the c-pawn to get a lead in development and open c- and d-files. After ...dxc3 Nxc3, White develops with Nf3, Bc4, O-O, Qe2 and Rd1, aiming at d6 and f7. Black is a pawn up but must be careful about the open d-file and the e5 push. For club players it is a practical weapon: the plans are simple and the opponent has to find accurate defensive moves.

A chess trainer that remembers what you missed

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
