The Danish Gambit: two pawns for two bishops

In the Danish, White offers a second pawn so that both bishops point straight at the black king: one on c4, one on b2. Against unprepared opponents it scores very well, because natural moves like ...Nc6 and ...Be7 run into quick attacks on f7 and g7. The engine shows that Black can keep the extra material with careful play, so White must keep the initiative going. A practical way for Black to avoid all of it is to decline with ...d5, hitting the centre at once.

A chess trainer that remembers what you missed

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
