The King's Gambit: Kieseritzky style

After 2.f4 exf4 3.Nf3 g5, Black tries to hold the extra pawn on f4 with the g-pawn. White hits the chain at once with h4. When Black pushes ...g4, the knight jumps to e5 instead of retreating. It eyes f7 and g4 and stays very active. White is a pawn down for a while, but the f-file and the weak black kingside give real play. The engine rates it as slightly better for Black, which is normal for a gambit. The main idea to remember: in gambits, strike at the pawn chain before your opponent finishes developing.

A chess trainer that remembers what you missed

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. Endgame closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
