The Path
Five worlds from 0 to 2000+. Short levels of hand-picked puzzles, 1–3 stars, XP, a daily streak and a boss at the end of every world.
Against the Queen's Gambit, Black can hit back with ...e5 and give up a pawn for a big pawn on d4. That d4 pawn takes squares away from White's knights and makes normal development awkward. Black follows with ...Nc6 to win the e5 pawn back later, and often castles long to attack with the kingside pawns. A gambit pays off only if you keep developing. Every move should add a piece, not chase a pawn.

Most games between club players are decided by a short tactic — a fork you didn't see, a pin you walked into, a back rank you forgot to air out. PawnPulse closes the loop: learn the pattern on the Path, use it against a bot, get graded, and drill the miss until it sticks.
Want to read up first? Short guides: forks, pins, back-rank mates.
